Collihort Privacy Policy

What this policy covers

This policy describes how Collihort handles information when you use collihort.com or a tenant garden site we host. Each garden club also sees member data inside that tenant. Collihort is the software host, not the club secretary.

Account and garden records

We store the email and name you use to sign in, plus whatever the club collects: street, skills, bio, photos you upload, chore and volunteer logs, receipts, waiver signatures, and messages you post.

On a community garden, approved members can see the member directory, including street and skills when those fields are filled. Approved members can also see club receipts the organizers publish in the money module. Photos from activities may appear in club communications unless you tell an organizer otherwise.

Organizers see more: pending join requests, waiver registry details, and audit trails. Collihort operators can access tenant data to keep the service running, fix abuse, or comply with law.

Find a garden and public pages

Find a garden uses public community-garden listings. Cards show location context, not a private inbox. Live garden home pages may show public club copy. Member-only pages stay behind sign-in.

Processors

Hosting and database run on infrastructure we contract (including Cloudflare and Supabase). Transactional email may go through Resend. Human checks may use Cloudflare Turnstile. We do not sell your email list.

Retention and your choices

Club organizers control most records on their tenant. You can ask them to correct directory fields. You can ask Collihort at hello@collihort.com about account deletion; we still keep what we must for security, billing, or legal holds.
